Hi Mark, The Striker is a well sorted and tried & proven chassis - it has won the 750 motor club racing series against similar types (Westies, etc.) something like 10 out of the last 14 years ;D in is various guises (Raw/Sylva -Striker/Phoenix - the enclosed body version) so this to me speaks volumes for the chassis/suspension. I have a live axle Striker which has a harsher ride than the independant newer versions but there is the benefit that the rear suspension angles don't alter as much to conflict with handling. They are light, stiff, predictable and have had many engines fitted (rotary, Ford, Fiat, Toyota, Motorbike, etc.)- . What you ought to do is to contact Rob Sinclaire (the northern agent for Raw) at Tingley - if you live local to Leeds & he can show you around the car & take you for a test drive in one. Or else come to a club meet - details on www.northernroadsters.co.ukCheers Maximus
